Hi all! Welcome to “The Interfaith Intrepid,” where we bridge gaps one blog post at a time. This blog is meant to bridge the gap between different religions, as well as between religion and atheism. As this blog expands over time, I hope for me, and my other fellow contributors on here, to post content that people of all walks of life could find relatable. My goal here isn’t to cause division; it’s to create unity. That is one goal I’ve always wanted in life; to be able to create unity. I’ve wanted to create unity between groups that people thought were impossible to find any common ground between. I hope to promote peace, tranquility, understanding, and compassion, and by doing that, hopefully unity could be achieved. Every blog post we make on here, I believe, is one step closer to bridging gaps between people, and one step closer to uniting people. Enjoy the ride, fellow readers!

    Sometimes two people simply experience something differently. Not every disagreement needs a winner. Not every opinion needs to become an argument. Sometimes you can say, “I see it differently,” and move on with your day. Honestly, that’s allowed.

    You can wake up in New York and have a conversation with someone on the other side of the planet before you’ve even had breakfast. That’s pretty strange when you think about it. The internet has made distance feel almost meaningless. And that’s both fascinating and occasionally overwhelming.

    We’re constantly told to fit in. Dress a certain way. Think a certain way. Act a certain way. But being different isn’t automatically something that needs to be corrected. Sometimes the things that make us unusual are the things that make us interesting.

    A boundary isn’t necessarily about punishing someone. Sometimes it’s simply about communicating what you will and won’t accept. You can care about someone and still have boundaries with them.
  • Stop Comparing Your Behind The Scenes

    It’s easy to compare your entire life to somebody else’s highlight reel. You see their accomplishments. You don’t see every setback, insecurity, failure, or difficult day behind them. Give yourself some room to be human.
  • Your Feelings Don’t Need Permission

    You don’t need someone else to agree with your feelings for those feelings to exist. Feelings aren’t always facts. But they are still experiences worth acknowledging.
  • You Can Outgrow People

    Growing as a person can sometimes mean realizing that certain relationships no longer fit your life. That doesn’t automatically make anyone the villain. People change. And sometimes growing apart is simply part of being human.
  • Rest Is Not Failure

    You are allowed to stop. You are allowed to take a break. You are allowed to have a day where you accomplish absolutely nothing. Rest isn’t laziness. Sometimes rest is exactly what you need.

  • I Love When Anime Gets Weird

    Sometimes an anime starts with a premise that makes you think: “Okay… how the hell are they going to make an entire series out of this?” And then somehow it works. Give me strange worlds, bizarre characters, completely ridiculous concepts, and stories that refuse to behave normally. Normal is overrated.
  • Comics Don’t Have To Be Serious

    Superheroes can save the world. They can also trip over something incredibly stupid. That’s one of the great things about comics. They can jump between massive cosmic battles, emotional drama, horror, comedy, romance, and complete absurdity. There’s room for all of it.
  • Filler Isn’t Always Bad

    Yes, some filler episodes are unnecessary. But sometimes filler gives characters room to breathe. Not every episode needs to advance the main plot. Sometimes watching characters simply exist, joke around, or experience something completely unrelated is part of the fun. Filler can be annoying. It can also be wonderful.
  • The Weirdest Powers Are Sometimes The Best Ones

    Give me a character whose superpower is something completely ridiculous. Not super strength. Not laser eyes. Not another version of telekinesis. Give me someone who can manipulate shoelaces or control vending machines or weaponize an incredibly specific skill. Sometimes the strangest powers make the most creative fights.
  • Villains Don’t Always Need A Tragic Backstory

    Not every villain needs to secretly be a good person who was hurt by society. Sometimes a villain is just a villain. And honestly? That’s perfectly fine. A complicated backstory can be great, but sometimes it’s refreshing when a character simply chooses to be terrible and the story doesn’t make excuses for them.

  • Movie Posters Can Be Weird

    Sometimes a movie poster tells you exactly what you’re about to watch. Other times you look at it and think: “What does any of this have to do with the movie?” Strange compositions, questionable taglines, giant floating heads… Movie posters are an odd art form all by themselves.
  • The Random Celebrity Cameo

    You’re watching a movie. Everything is normal. Then suddenly: “Wait… IS THAT WHO I THINK IT IS?” Celebrity cameos can be hilarious because sometimes they’re completely unexpected. And sometimes the cameo is so random that you spend the rest of the movie wondering why they were even there.
  • When CGI Looks More Realistic Than Reality

    We’re used to complaining when CGI looks fake. But sometimes CGI gets so good that you forget you’re looking at something that doesn’t actually exist. And that’s almost stranger. The more convincing visual effects become, the harder it can be to tell where reality ends and digital creation begins.
  • The Strangest Movie Props

    Sometimes the weirdest thing in a movie isn’t a monster or a special effect. It’s some random object sitting on a table in the background. A bizarre painting. A strange statue. A completely unnecessary gadget. Props can have their own little stories. Even when nobody explains them.
  • Why Do Old Commercials Feel So Weird?

    Watch enough commercials from decades ago and you’ll eventually reach a point where you’re thinking: “What the hell am I watching?” The strange music. The dramatic narration. The bizarre acting. Advertising has changed a lot. And some old commercials are accidental time capsules of weirdness.

     You don't need to know what a chord progression is. You don't need to read sheet music. You don't need to understand every technical detail. You can simply hear something and think: "Wow. I like this." That's enough.

     Imagine a horror movie without its music. Or an emotional scene without the soundtrack. Music can completely change how we experience what we're watching. Sometimes the same scene can feel funny, terrifying, hopeful, or heartbreaking depending on what's playing underneath it.
  • A Song Can Mean Something Completely Different To Someone Else

     You can write a song about one specific experience and someone else can hear an entirely different story in it. That's one of the beautiful things about music. Once a song reaches someone else, their own experiences become part of how they hear it.

     You hear a song once.Then suddenly it's playing in your head all day.Catchy melodies, repetition, rhythm, and other musical patterns can all contribute to songs becoming stuck in our minds.Sometimes your brain just refuses to change the station.
