Following Sunnyvale, other expensive areas include San Francisco, Irvine, and Fremont, with the broader Bay Area being a particularly costly region.
The national average cost of raising a child is estimated to be around $2,500 per month. The study also highlighted cities in Texas, like El Paso and Corpus Christi, and Ohio as being among the most affordable for raising children.
