Three individuals were stabbed in downtown San Diego early Sunday morning in an incident that occurred near the intersection of 6th Avenue and Market Street in the Gaslamp Quarter. The San Diego Police Department (SDPD) reported that the stabbings took place around 1:15 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered three adult male victims suffering from stab wounds. All three were promptly transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. One victim sustained life-threatening injuries, while the other two had injuries that were considered not life-threatening.

The SDPD immediately initiated an investigation into the incident. Preliminary findings suggest that a fight broke out between two groups of people, ultimately leading to the stabbings. As of the latest reports, no arrests have been made. Police are actively seeking information from witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage to identify the suspect or suspects involved. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in bringing those responsible to justice. The motivation behind the fight remains unclear.
