Yemen Skies: Civilian Blood

Over the weekend, the US military launched numerous airstrikes targeting Yemen, with a significant portion focused on the capital city of Sanaa. These strikes, conducted on Saturday and Sunday, resulted in a considerable loss of life. At least 53 people were killed, a figure confirmed by reports emanating from the region.

Tragically, a large portion of the casualties were civilians. Reports indicate that 31 of the deceased were non-combatants, highlighting the devastating impact of the airstrikes on the civilian population. The targeting of residential areas within Sanaa, a densely populated urban center, exacerbated the civilian casualties.
