SoCal Grocery Lot Ambush

A shooting in a Walmart parking lot in Lithonia, Georgia, resulted in the death of a male Uber driver. The incident occurred around 11:00 PM on a Thursday night. According to DeKalb County Police, the driver had just dropped off a passenger when he was approached by at least one suspect who opened fire.

The victim was found deceased in his vehicle. Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, but the motive remains unclear. They are reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses to piece together the events leading up to the incident.

Police have not released the victim’s identity, pending notification of next of kin. As of the news report, no arrests have been made, and investigators are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward. The investigation is ongoing.
